History will say, with unforgiving clarity, that you, Mr. President, started a war without justification, without world support, without understanding and without adequate planning, resulting in the deaths so far of more than 2,900 American servicemen and women, the wounding of more than 20,000 service members, the uncountable deaths and maiming of Iraqis, the destabilization of the region and the loss of the world’s good opinion.
