Paul and I went on a Good News Club school trip when we were in the second year (1979?), and Paul did have a lot of friends in the year above. I remember a big game of Capture the Flag with two teams that got quite rowdy. And I remember singing some Ian Dury, and definitely Squeeze!

Did he go to the school trip where we stayed in cabins in the woods. I’m sure it was through the Good News Club. If I remember it right we used to sing Sqeeze, Up the Junction loudly & Paul was always in trouble.
