Yes, you indeed did good, meaningful work and so many of us Smart Patients as Soooooo grateful to you! I’m glad I came by your garage and got to meet you before you got miffed over such a trifle as our electing a certified maniac as Leader of the Free World (poor sport, are ya?)and took your toys and went home. I’m sorry I no longer have the option to swing by the garage and see you and Katherine and Al.
Glad you’re back to enjoying the pub scene in The Old World.

Lots of wonderful memories between the highs and lows of your job adventures that I wouldn’t change for the world. I had no doubt that life with you would be exciting and it’s been so all the way. Love reminiscing of years past and looking forward to what’s to come.

I think you found your calling at SP. It has shifted perception and reality regarding patient and caregiver involvement at every stage of health challenges — diagnosis, acute and ongoing treatment, and for some eventually, end of life concerns. The online interface works well, the moderators are first rate, the SPs themselves come in all varieties but the tone is constructive and nonjudgmental. I wish I could say any work I’ve ever done had made such a significant difference in the world. I’m glad your meandering path led you there. And that you were able to continue the work from afar when it was time to go home.
