823 Frew entry? Sidcup? I can black cat that one – 803 Spike, Bexleyheath – Bexley Grammar school. I joined at 16, so I suppose i shoulf have been in 823 if i’d have stayed on & done A levels. We missed each other by a whisker.
I too remember the joys of being the only London based tiff and getting ragged becoause of my ‘Gor Blimey” London accent.

Aaron reminded me of another: I was cheated out of the title of HMS Southampton Crib Champion 1984-85 when Fingers O’Grady wouldn’t give me the “2 for a Jack” and went on to beat me by one point. Bastard!

Awesome post, thanks for sharing. I see what you mean now by “I can sleep just fine on top of a couple of torpedoes”.

The whole time I was looking at those pictures and it was like looking at pictures of D. Very cool.

Unclear why Barbary Apes need to be all dressed up though.
