This ticked off some members of Parliament enough to invite another guy to be King, and under him they wrote the English Bill of Rights, which made its way into the Virginia Declaration of Rights, which then transmogrified into the United States Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment. Thanks a lot for the mass murders, King James I!
