I was really hoping for some postmodern deconstruction to throw the fright of it into light relief.

You know, something like, “The dark clouds descended upon my vehicle and the vehicles of all in our caravan. Suddenly, the minstrels changed their tune from far away radio waves, and utter darkness befell our campaign. They cursed us in a coquettish voice, “Oops, I did it again.” My soul collapsed under the weight of the Britney God’s litany… and so on.

What an incredible photograph!

The quantity and complexity and power of lightening bolts! The evil black cloud with it’s menacing bright eye and chaotic tentacles. And the peaceful landscape, two brilliantly back lit oak tree silhouettes, oblivious to the danger overhead…

wow.
