Missed it

I had planned to celebrate the first anniversary of my blog. But I missed it.
Here’s what I blogged about over a year ago today. I never imagined I would keep it up for this long. Well done me.

Here’s what I blogged about over a year ago today. I never imagined I would keep it up for this long. Well done me.
I started writing my very own “Why I am not a Christian” essay about 8 months ago. It is several pages long and, like so many things I start, not quite finished. On the off-chance that I never actually get around to finishing it, I’ll share a preview of why I do not believe in gods:
One day I’ll finish my essay. So far it covers Mark’s wedding, Martin showing up late for Sunday morning ice skating, Mrs George’s prime five-legged ants, the optimum hand position for efficient prayer and the exact moment when I realized that even reincarnation was all made up by wishful humans. It’ll be good, I tell you.
Nice interview with Dawkins in The Times. Good line:
“I don’t think you and I disagree on anything very much but as a colleague of mine said, it’s just that you say it wrong.”
